Where it began

RuRuyuyu began with a love for crystals and two different ways of understanding the world.

RURU (Founder) once worked as a civil servant at the National Taxation Bureau and grew up in a family with temple roots, and has always felt sensitive to the spiritual and to the people and places nearby. RURU believes in crystals and simply loves them; RuRuyuyu grew from that long-held love.

YuYu (Co-founder) is RURU's graduate school classmate, a former civil servant with a background in game development. Curious about metaphysics, YuYu brought systems-design thinking into the brand and built RuRuyuyu's fortune-reading recommendation system, turning abstract readings into clearer clues for choosing.

One started from lived experience and crystals; the other turned a curiosity about metaphysics into a system. Along the way, choosing and stringing stones, we have heard many claims that crystals can do anything. For us, energy doesn't change your fate—it helps you see yourself clearly.

Six everyday companion principles

1. Start slow, build a real connection
More crystals aren't better. Start with one, and get to know it first.

2. Keep it small, keep it close
Small stones are easier to wear every day and fit into what you already wear, so they stay with you longer.

3. Cleanse often, gently

4. Give it time, do the inner work
A crystal is a companion that supports you. It can't skip the inner work or the time for you.

5. Listen to your intuition, not the crowd
The best crystal isn't the one someone else recommends. It's the one your body and intuition respond to.

Wear it with a clear intention and awareness, and it becomes a daily reminder.
